OpenIndie.com does hope to create a community screening experience alive through the Four Eyed Monsters model you referenced.  Just as people control the digital screens in their lives they will also collectively control the cinema screen.  This will keep venues in business by insuring attendance, keep people excited about connecting with like minded people in real life, and give filmmakers an audience and a medium to be creating for.

That way it&#039;s not just cat videos and experimental video.  Story telling in the longer form can also survive these changing times.</description>
